The Bridging Project

The Bridging Project started this spring in the community. Part of the project is a mural that is currently being painted on the Lawrence Avenue bridge. Youth artists are working with lead artist, Rob Matejka to create the mural. Stop and chat with the artists as you are passing by. If you want to pick up a paintbrush and be part of the painting process, volunteers are welcome. Volunteers are needed Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1 – 4:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 – 4:30 p.m. To learn more about volunteering, call Karin at 416-698-7995.
