Get Involved
There are a lot of ways to get involved in making the KGO neighbourhood a better place. Our community poster, seen here, shows that no matter what your interest or passion is there is a way to use it for the betterment of the neighbourhood. Whether you like art, events like BBQ’s, volunteering, working with committees or nature, there are limitless ways to put your talents and interest to good use for Kingston Galloway – Orton Park.
You can try volunteering, joining the neighbourhood association Residents Rising (call 647-347-2342), coming out to a Community Speaks (check our events calendar for dates), or calling Action for Neighbourhood Change at 647-347-1693 to start shaping one of your own ideas for how to make the community a better place.
You can even participate right here on this website by going to the community forum section and making a post. By making a post the different agencies and city services will be hearing your voice and you will be influencing the decisions that they make. It’s that easy!
There are so many ways to make a change happen in our neighbourhood. Don’t be shy, get in touch with us and find out how!
Below is a sampling of a few of the many opportunities available to participate in the community.
